MDC Students app for iPhone and iPad

Today, more than 165,000 students attend Miami Dade College. A state-supported college with eight campuses and numerous outreach centers. Miami-Dade College is the largest institution of higher education in the United States and one of the most highly regarded colleges in the nation.

As a student in one of their campuses, I decided to create an iPhone app that would benefits the majority of Miami-Dade College students,professors, and visitors. My application is very simple and yet has numerous features that would help students success in their path through MDC.



Features:
* Maps: This particular feature will provide students,professors, and visitor a understanding of all buildings,parking,and sites that the college has to offer.

*Student Portal: Students can check their grades,financial aid status and much more.

* Campus Information: This will redirect each student to each campuses specific website, there they will be able to access campuses specific information at their fingertips.

*Public Safety **: In my opinion, this is the one of the most important feature that this app contain.User will have each campus Public Safety number a touch away.

*Email Access: With this app each user will be able to access their email on the go.

*BlackBoard: MDC blackboard portal a touch away.

**Public Safety feature will ONLY work on iPhones with an active line.
*** This app requires internet connection. Many features will NOT be available without internet, the performance of this app depends in the internet connection speed.
